POLICE arrested Thursday four alleged robbers of a Cagayan de Oro-bound bus after a five-minute shootout in Tagoloan town, Misamis Oriental, wounding one of the suspects.

THE NATIONAL Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) have started evaluating two Japanese-funded infrastructure projects.
A NEDA statement said a recent meeting between representatives of the two agencies started the evaluation, which is usually scheduled two years after project completion, as prescribed by JICA's rules for ODA projects.

THE PHILIPPINE Coast Guard (PCG) is beefing up safety measures on all ports and ferry terminals to ensure passenger security for travelers in the coming Holy Week.
